From my most recent experience (2003?), I remember Hotmail letting all sorts of spam email thru to the Inbox.. porn, mortgages, fake jobs, fake boobs, fake lottery winnings. You name it.
But today, I get this reply after trying to send something to my father’s Hotmail address. I had never seen this before:
Remote host said: 550 OU-002 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems.
Now I’m the spammer? Policy caught me? I’m such a threat. Right.
Get outta here. And if you’re a long-termer.. buy some Apple and short both Microsoft and Dell.
