My dear friend Frankie’s mother, Cheryl, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday. Read her obituary here. She was such an awesome woman.  Always made me (not to mention Brandon, Kelly, etc) feel absolutlely welcome at their home.

Myself (talking with the Owens’), Elizabeth and her boss Steve Nichols, and Meg & her father-in-law James Nelson were photographed in the Lexington Herald Leader story about the event. My college friend Brett Sanders and his wife Mindy are going thru tough times right now, as their toddler Colin fights a form of childhood cancer.
In a very cool “Dad move”, Brett shaved his head in solidarity.
